AdvIQwater – working meeting the Polish Ecological Club Pomeranian Branch with the Gdańsk University of Technology

A meeting, of the Polish Ecological Club Pomeranian Branch and the Gdańsk University of Technology groups to discuss progress in research on the photocatalytic decomposition of anticancer drug Cyclophosphamide and anticonvulsant Carbamazepine and to plan further research on the photocatalytic decomposition of a mixture of this drugs took place on March 5, 2024.

Laboratory tests were carried out according to jointly agreed assumptions and their results were analyzed. The research results indicate that the proposed photocatalyst can be used on a larger scale to remove drugs containing aromatic rings and saturated aliphatic chains in their structure. Based on the results, an abstract for the conference was prepared and submitted. The research results will constitute part of the publication, which will be soon prepared with the Project Leader.
